The Tibetan Lamb Gold Bench would be perfect for adding more seating for your holiday party.

I've always wanted a bust, mostly to display my jewelry and fun hats.  This Apollo Pantheon Bust would be perfect.

Love the square shape of this Constantine Mirror with Leather Strap although they also offer the traditional round version as well. You could mix them both together on an entry wall.

It's been snowing in New York and I am still in need of a fur throw.  This Faux Fur version would be perfect for my apartment.

This hand stitched Floating Dog on paper would make a perfect present for the animal lover on your list.

Sponsor Spotlight: Kassatex

When I visited the Kassatex showroom recently, the luxurious linens and towels made me want to throw everything out in my apartment and start over.  I've never seen towels in so many gorgeous colors or so many chic bath accessories.  Kassatex was always the wholesale showroom name but you might remember that their online presence was CassaDecor. They have recently changed the website name to Kassatex to lesson the confusion.  Fall is always the time when we refresh our wardrobes but it might also be a good time to refresh our home.  Kassatex also offers to the trade accounts for all you interior designers.

Happy shopping!

Sponsor Spotlight: Lindsay Cowles Art

If you can't afford a Basquiat like in my earlier post or anything at Gagosian for that matter, you might want to check out Lindsay Cowles Art. Her colorful abstract paintings are not only popular with collectors but interior designers who commission special pieces for their clients. They would look as great in a modern home as they would juxtaposed in a more traditional space.

"My art is inspired by raw texture, movement and color. Fundamental elements of my works are focused in the interplay of color and the layering and texturing of the paints. Each painting's composition develops organically as the work moves through each layer and stage, until it is complete." - Lindsay Cowles

Sponsor Spotlight: Fab Holiday Shop

Usually items on Fab come and go quickly but the chicly curated items in their Fab Holiday Shop will be available until December 31st.  They were kind enough to ask me to pick out some gifts for the people on my list this year.  Maybe my choices will help you pick out a few last minute presents for your friends and family.

I thought a pair of the Fab Industrial Wire Pendants above would be perfect for my friends who just moved into a new Brooklyn apartment.

I know a chic little kid on the Upper East Side who would appreciate this Eames Elephant.  Heck, I know a few adults who would love it too!

I have a feeling that my Diet Coke addicted friends would love this Gold Soda Can Bank.  I might have to get one for myself too!

The original present I picked out for my dad was a fun mustache mug that sold out right away.  My next option is to get his old school music library downloaded onto an iPod and then buy him this Geneva XS Speaker so he can listen to music anywhere in the house.

My mom loved anything furry so this Icelandic Sheepskin would be perfect for her and her little dogs too.

And last but not least, I think I deserve a present.  I've been in love with this George Nelson Tripod Clock since I first saw it in Domino magazine many years ago.  If anyone would like to slip this into my stocking, I would be completely amenable to that idea.

Happy Holidays!

Sponsor Spotlight: Griffin & Wong

I have first hand experience with many of my blog sponsors which makes it easier for me to recommend them to you.  I dealt with Griffin and Wong when one of my design clients wanted chinoiserie wallpaper in her bedroom.  The project ended up going in a completely different direction but I loved working with Douglas Bray who handles client projects for the company.  I know many people, including my readers, dream about decorating a room with hand painted Chinese wallpaper but the expense can be a huge deterrent.  The best thing about Griffin and Wong is that you can completely customize your order at a reasonable price.  They offer 27 different designs on 22 background colors to mix and match to your heart's content and they can also match any color from Benjamin Moore.  Wait are you waiting for?!  Go forth and decorate!
