More is More

I ran into Terron Schaefer, the Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer for Saks Fifth Avenue, at the Five Year Anniversary party for the WSJ.Magazine during fashion week.  He said he was thinking of me because he need inspiration for his new apartment.  As you might have seen from my book where his office was featured, he has a large collection of photography and art that he wants to display it gallery style on two walls.  Instead of sending him photos or directing him to my Pinterest page, I figured why not share my suggestions with you all.  While I've posted gallery walls here and there, I haven't devoted an entire post to them since 2011. You can see it here. It also gives me an excuse to post a photo of the new Edition Hotel by Ian Schrager that just opened in London, above. They've got their own fabulous gallery wall of painting.

Bill's Food & Drink with interiors by Meg Sharpe is one of my favorite places in New York.

I found my own art wall online when looking for images!

Sonic Editions Habitually Chic Collection

I'm excited to announce that I have curated a Habitually Chic Collection of photographs for Sonic Editions. It includes some of my all time favorite photos, as well as some new ones of the celebrities and places I love. I remember being a tad jealous when The Impossible Cool for Sonic Editions was announced so I couldn't believe my luck when they approached me.  The initial collection includes 20 framed photos each in a limited edition of 100. They would make an excellent gift for yourself or someone you love.  Hope you like them!

Celine Soulmate

Celine bags aren't just loved by the ladies. I found the wonderful blog We Could Grow Up Together after spying the photo of one of his Celine bags above somewhere on the internets.  The author, Kwannam Chu,  is a peripatetic photographer and creative director who chronicles his life, travels and work in his own unique style.  What really caught my eye, besides the bags, was his gallery wall of photos of cute boys he's photographed that he also posts on the blog.  I mean what could be better than bags and boys?! I warn you though, once you start reading, you won't be able to stop.  Good thing I posted this on the weekend. Enjoy!
