The sun is finally out after what seemed like a week of rain. That means you might want to pull out a hat except that the gale force winds would probably blow it off your head. Maybe better to display your hats on the wall or in the entry. Nothing says summer like a good straw hat no matter it's located.

When I first saw the cover image of the Wall Street Journal Magazine last week, it looked more appropriate for September not May but the jokes on me. It's currently 45 degrees in New York and this cable knit sweater from The Row would be perfect to wear today. The magazine is inside the Saturday, May 25 edition of the Wall Street Journal newspaper. Make sure you pick it up. It will give you something to read while you're warming your feet in front of the fire in The Hamptons.

Beginning Over Again with the Summer

It's the start of the Memorial Day weekend here in the US and a bank holiday weekend in England, the unofficial start of summer. It doesn't really feel like summer though with all the weird weather. Let's just look at these images and pretend shall we?
