I hope you all had a great holiday. A great last minute Christmas present for me was finding the new January/February 2014 issue of Elle Decor on the newsstand. It's the International Issue and my favorite home featured was a 19th-century house in Normandy designed by Franz Potisek. I won't ruin it by posting photos from that feature but I did find some pics from Franz's own apartment in Paris. I think they are from a few years ago so I hope we see another look at it soon.

Somebody's Watching Me

Sorry for the radio silence. My last two days in Paris were jam packed and I just got back last night. I have a lot of photos to edit from my trip and a lot of great posts to come. In the meantime, I'm leaving you with a post of portraits. I started this post before I left and funny enough, there was a photograph in an old gilt frame, a modern interpretation of a traditional oil portrait, in my room at the new London Edition Hotel. I really want to start collection portraits but her eyes seem to follow me around the room which makes me a little unsure now. Or maybe I just need to put them in a hallway.

Last of the Autumn Inspiration

In case you need a little last minute autumn and entertaining inspiration, this is probably the last of it until we move onto Christmas. I will be in London for Thanksgiving which seems rather ironic. I'm excited to get away but I will miss the pumpkin pie. Hope one of you will save me a piece!
