Traveling Chic with Coach

I've never been one of those people who wear sweatpants on a plane.  You never know who you might see or which handsome man you might be lucky enough to sit next to so it's important to look your best. As I prepare for my November trip to London and Paris, I've already started setting aside my travel accessories. Some of them could use a little upgrading and there is no better place to start than Coach. They have a wide array of travel accessories for men and woman that you can see in this cute Coach x Domaine slideshow. I've picked out some of my favorites below.

My passport is starting to look a little dogeared so I new Coach Bleecker Leather Passport Cover is in order.  The bright colors make it easy to spot it when it gets buried at the bottom of your bag too.

I've had a few people try to take my suitcase of the baggage carousel so I always attached a brightly colored luggage tag.  I love that the Coach Bleecker Legacy Luggage Tags look chic and hide your address.  Safety first when traveling!

Since I'll be traveling to countries that require different plug adapters, this Coach Bleecker Leather Travel Adapter is perfect.  I can be used in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia.  Of course, I'll need at least five to charge all my electronics on this trip.

In order to save space on my laptop, I always download my photos to a USB drive.  I think it's definitely time to upgrade to this chic Coach Leather USB Drive.  It's especially handy that's it's also a key chain so don't lose it.

Speaking of key chains, I need to leave an extra set of keys with my friend Tim since I'll be away ten days.  I will have my mail and packages held but I would feel better if he stopped by just to make sure the place hasn't burned down.  Tim doesn't have a television so I told him he could also watch some shows while I'm out of town.  This Coach Bottle Opener Key Chain would make a perfect thank you present for checking on my apartment.

This is just the tip of the iceberg of chic products that Coach offers for traveling.  If I wasn't already booked for a trip, they would definitely make me want to plan one and they might just inspire you too.

Bon Voyage!

Studying Sara

Last night's panel with Domaine Home was rollicking good fun and I very much enjoyed chatting with Sara Ruffin Costello who was also on the panel with me. We've crossed paths before but never really had a chance to talk.  Now that she's living in New Orleans, those chances are few and far between so this was a treat.  Domaine Home recently featured one of the rooms in her house, the rest are waiting to be shot for a magazine. (You can read the entire story here.) I thought it was interesting to see how her style has changed since her old living room was featured in Domino magazine.  The wall color is similar I find intriguing. Sara said she's been all about getting rid of old place holders and also parring down. She's less interested in gallery walls of art and instead is looking for large scale photography now. The moral of this story, is that we should always be evolving whether it's in our design style or in our life overall.

Bon weekend!

Dazzling Domaine

I've mentioned that it was coming and I am happy to announce that Domaine Home is finally live! Hooray! Give yourself plenty of time to check out this new home site from the founders of Who What Wear, Katherine Power and Hillary Kerr.  Helmed by magazine alum Mat Sanders, it's chock full of fabulous decor, celebrities, and even a few recipes.  As part of their media network, Clique Media, you might even see a few contributions from me down the road.  Enjoy!

Chic at Work: Who What Wear

I've been reading Who What Wear since they launched in 2006 so it was a huge treat to be able to meet the founders and tour their offices when I was in Los Angeles last month.  Even more exciting was visiting the fashion closet.  As we all know, everyone thinks that the fashion world revolves around New York but Hillary Kerr and Katherine Power have proved that being based in LA can have its advantages. The proximity to the celebrities they cover on the site has definitely been a big plus.  The Who What Wear site has been completely redone by the way and is looking better than ever with even more stories to read everyday.  I can't wait until their new shelter site Domaine Home launches next.  I know it's going to be just as good! One of the reasons I chose to sign with their blogger network Clique Media was because of their own success and development as a company. Now I hope I get to visit their offices every time I'm in LA!

P.S. If you visit the new Who What Wear site, you can enter to win a Cartier Love Bracelet!  Talk about chic!

I could stare at their moodboards all day!

I'm pretty sure I heard angels sing when I walked into the hallway and saw all these shoes lined up!
