Just Jackie

Long time readers know that my style is pretty classic.  I like to look appropriate for each event or occasion and don't usually give in to trends.  That's not to say that I don't like to know what's driving fashion each season. For fall, it's longer skirts and fuller trousers with lots of grey, and an emphasis on a fabulous coat. Sounds completely up my alley.  Also looks like Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis could be my muse for the season.  Except for the necklace, I love the look above with the pushed up sleeves which is how I've been wearing my sleeves lately.  I do love how she wore her necklaces in the other photos though and her Gucci bag and classic Cartier watch.  She also had a stable of perfect coats. Simple, elegant, and impeccable is how I describe her look that is definitely my inspiration for fall.

After a week of continuous 90+ degree days, I think a little yachting sounds like the perfect way to cool off. If you've got an extra $32.8 Million handy, you could be sailing around the Mediterranean with 35 of your closest friends on the Christina O, the yacht made famous by Jackie and Aristotle Onassis. In the world of mega yachts, they don't make them like this anymore. New yachts also can't say they've had guests like Sir Winston Churchill, John F. Kennedy, Eva Peron, John Paul Getty, John D. Rockefeller, John Wayne, Greta Garbo, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, and Prince Ranier and Grace Kelly, on board. If those walls could talk, imagine the stories they would tell! If any of you do buy it, please keep me in mind for one of the 35 spots.

Bon weekend!
