I remember seeing this apartment on the cover of the book New Paris Style but didn't know the designer until today. It is the home of interior designer Florence Baudoux which is a Haussmann apartment of epic proportions. The entire space is painted grey and could be dark if it were not for the tall French doors and mirrors which bounce the light around the room. It's another example of a space that's not my complete style but I still can appreciate the details and I especially love the choice of lilac colored sofas. I am also starting to admire the French for their lack of clutter. Of course, it's much easier to do in a place this large. Just another reason to move to Paris.
