On Acid

One of my favorite rooms at the Hearst Designer Visions Showhouse was Alessandra Branca's master bedroom.  It featured walls upholstered in her new acid green Anna Damask fabric for Schumacher, which is a tumbled linen. What I really appreciate about her space is the fully function draperies and completely authentic design.  I was surprised to notice another designer had just created faux drapery panels. I go to show houses not only for inspiration but to learn techniques from the best designers in the world and I appreciate that Alessandra went the extra mile.
